Virginia International Music Festival

Join us for our biggest festival event! Norfolk, home to the largest naval base in the world, is the perfect backdrop for an exciting weekend. As aircraft carriers return from months at sea, local TV stations eagerly cover the event. Norfolk is surrounded by the Hampton Roads harbor to the west, the Chesapeake Bay to the north, and Virginia Beach and the Atlantic to the east. Participants can enjoy visiting Colonial Williamsburg, featuring Busch Gardens Theme Park, or relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Virginia Beach. The 72nd Norfolk NATO Festival’s Parade of Nations will kick off on Saturday morning (optional). This concert bands festival is open to orchestra, jazz bands, and choirs from high schools and middle schools, taking place on Friday.
